I just read the craziest story on FOX and CBS News. William Shaw, the District Attorney for Clearfield County
Pennslyvania, has arrested a teen girl. Why was she arrested? She was charged with child pornography for sending nude photos of herself to a 27 year old man on MySpace. You can be charged for sending photos of yourself?
She faces having to register as a child sex offender when she’s the victim, and the 27 year old creep is getting only “unlawful sexual activity.” Excuse me, she’s the victim, and the 27 year old guy is the criminal. WTF? Are you really serious?
A 15-year-old girl from central Pennsylvania faces child pornography charges after police say she sent nude pictures of herself over the Internet.
Clearfield County District Attorney William Shaw says the girl has been charged as a juvenile with possessing, distributing and creating child pornography.
The girl is living with her mother. Authorities say the girl sent the pictures after communicating in June 2007 with a 27-year-old man over the MySpace networking Web site.
The practice has been called “sexting” for the prevalence of teens to transmit images via a cell phone.
Shaw says the man has also been charged with unlawful sexual activity. State police found the images on the man’s computer.
Maybe William Shaw should go back to law school, or better yet, kicked out of office immediately. What a WASTE of taxpayers money. This girl needs counseling, some 27 year old dude cruising for teen girls. Where is MSNBC “To Catch a Predator” when you need them?
Shaw is arresting the victim and not the child predator. Also, many people are saying lawmakers are getting kickbacks from PRIVATE juvenile facilities to arrest these poor kids on trumped up charges. Somebody needs to investigate what’s REALLY going on in Clearfield County.
Wow, thank goodness the DA is protecting a 27 year old man from “wild” underage girls sending nude photos of themselves. Excuse me, why is this guy talking to underage girls on MySpace anyway? OUTRAGEOUS!!! I wonder how many REAL criminals are walking the street while he is charging this poor girl? Is this guy bored?
Write the Pennsylvania Governor, Congressman, and the Police Chief. These girls should not be charged with a FELONY!!! Some old guy is taking advantage of underage teens and we’re going to charge the kids. This is WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!

2. A former girlfriend of yours called the police, after she alleged you hit her, and threw a computer at her, after you broke into her email and flipped on her for emailing a male friend. Why were you never charged for that crime?
3. Your nephew was pulled over for a DUI by a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Why did you call and threaten the State Trooper if he filed charges against your nephew? Is this justice?
4. When was the last time you experimented with drugs?
5. How have you been able to hide from Clearfield County voters the fact that you were arrested and jailed for assault
6. Why have you told a Drug Enforcement Agency to “look the other way” when your friends are involved
