The Nadya Suleman story gets odder and odder. Modern science has allowed a crazy woman to run wild and give birth to multiple children. One moment I feel sorry for her, she seems mentally ill, and I feel really sorry for her kids. Her parents chastise her on decisions she’s made, but they enable her by taking care of her financially. If she had no financial support, she could not have gotten plastic surgery, invitro fertilization, and all this other nonsense.

In a videotaped squabble with her mother posted Monday on a gossip Web site, the woman who gave birth to octuplets said she had no choice but to use the embryos she had because her only other option was to destroy them.

“I’m not going to destroy the embryos, period. Done, done, done,” Nadya Suleman told her mother in an interview videotaped last week and posted by RadarOnline.com. “You can’t go back and alter the past.”

Angela Suleman had told her daughter that “you should have considered your six other children” before going through the in vitro fertilization procedure that led to her to give birth to another eight children last month.

In another media interview, Denis Beaudoin told ABC News he had a three-year relationship with Suleman and found it “out of the ordinary” when she asked him to donate sperm.

“But I cared about her so much. And I mean, we were, we were in love. I mean, I loved Nadya very much,” he said. “She really had a really infectious laugh. You know, just her laugh would, it would make you crack up. It’s kind of like she had a real high-pitch, squeaky cartoon voice. And, you know, she was a lot of fun to be around. Just her whole bubbly outward personality was really, really cool.”
