The life of Nadya Suleman is starting to unravel quickly. In a desperate attempt to keep her newborn babies, she has
reached out to Dr. Phil to make her plea to the public. Nadya is afraid she will not be allowed to bring her 8 children home from the hospital. Why? The hospital wants her to prove that she has a home and is financially stable to care for them.
Nadya Suleman fears hospital officials may not release her octuplets to her until she proves she can care for them, the Octo-mom told talk show host “Dr. Phil” McGraw in an interview to be broadcast today.
McGraw told the Los Angeles Times that Suleman called him, distressed after talking with Kaiser Permanente’s Bellflower Medical Center officials.
“What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her,” McGraw told The Times. There was no immediate response to an NBC request for comment from Kaiser Permanente.
This girl needs a serious reality check. What’s most important is that the children have a safe place to live. It’s obvious she lacks the financial means to care for the babies, nor has the emotional stability. Such a very sad situation. Will the father of these kids be given custody? Will the children be placed in foster care, or will she be forced to give them up for adoption? Hopefully, a solution will be found to make sure the babies have a bright future.
