Katy Perry, the new pop sensation, recently revealed her personal vow for 2009. Recovering from a broken heart, when Grammy-nominated Katy, 24, was asked who she would like to kiss at the upcoming awards, she said: “I’ve actually taken a vow of celibacy this year… no kissing anyone. “Just my cat, Kitty Purry.”

Perry dated Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy on and off for several years; the two broke up in December 2008. Their two year romance ended because they constantly argued. A source said: “It’s sad, but they were fighting a lot in recent months because they never saw each other. “When somebody becomes very famous very quickly their relationship usually suffers. She’s going through such a huge time at the moment so needs to be on her own.”

On the Grammy’s tonight, Katy performed the hit “I Kissed a Girl”, which had been nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. During her performance, videos from YouTube and other sites of people singing the song appeared in the background, and the stage was filled with fruits, which is part of her funky style. She looked really cute.

Astrologically, I predict our Scorpio girl will have a new man by summer. It looks like she’ll be breaking her celibacy vow very very soon. She’s way too hot for her to stay single, plus she’s a Scorpio. Need I say more?
