Will Rihanna forgive her man? Chris Brown after several days of silence, finally issues a public apology and enters counseling. Taking it like a man, the first step is realizing you have a problem. Hopefully, together either as a couple, or separately, they will heal and mend their broken hearts.

He hired a public relations company that specializes in crisis management to issue a five-sentence statement in which he also said many media and blog reports have been wrong.

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

He did not mention his father, who was quoted on Friday as telling People magazine that his son was “very remorseful.”

It’s a sad situation overall. It’s yet to be seen how this will effect his career. If he’s smart, he will take a year off, do some community service, and work on himself. Afterwards, he will emerge a stronger man, and hopefully Rihanna will become a role model for women who suffer from domestic violence. We wish them the best.
