True Beauty, is the latest ABC reality show to poke fun at the “beautiful people.” It’s actually pretty funny and some of the contestants are totally clueless. It’s hosted by Cheryl Tiegs, Nole Marin, and Vanessa Minnillo.

The premise is that these dudes and chicks believe they are competing for the title of “Most Beautiful Person in America,” $100k in prize money, and a featured spread in People. WOO HOO! Whatever…

What the contestants don’t know, is they are actually being judged on their “True Beauty” on the inside. In the first few episodes, most fail miserably, and fall into the cliche shallow Hollywood stereotype.

I actually like the show, I think it’s fun and interesting. Not all reporters agree with me. Baltimore Sun reports:

My god, though, the show is cheesy. When people are eliminated, a maintenance crew removes their portrait from the wall and shoves it in a trash bin. Contestant Joel actually spoke the words, “I’m scientifically beautiful.” And judge Cheryl Tiegs looks like she is crying half the time. Sorry she signed up for this? Sorry for the tricks they’re playing on the contestants? Just plain sorry? It’s odd. And yet, I found myself unable to change the channel. I’m hoping it was just a food coma and that next week I’ll break free from the nonedible cheese.

Yes, but most Americans are cheese lovin whores. We LOVE our reality shows. On a side not, NO Vanessa and Nick are not engaged.

Who do I think will win? Billy Jeffrey, I think Cheryl and Nole definitely have their undies in a knot over Billy. Total soap opera kinda guy. No astrological prediction, just an opinion.
