Now that we are down to the final five, it sounds like most fans have their undies in a knot over who Jason Mesnick will pick. Some fans believe Melissa Rycroft is too young, Molly Malaney’s hometown newspaper thinks she’s the front runner, and Astrochicks thinks Stephanie will be the next Bachelorette. Sorry Jillian and Naomi. Back to the real world.

I have really enjoyed this season. Initially, I thought Jason would be a wuss and wouldn’t want to hurt the girls feelings. Boy, was I surprised. He has been stealth in his selection, kicking women to the curb left and right without shedding a tear. Our Cancer boy is very sweet but also determined to find the woman of his dreams. Poor baby, having to choose between 25 desperate women.

I think adding Deanna Pappas to the mix, was a nice added twist. It gives Jason closure and Deanna gets to extend her 15 minutes of fame for a few more minutes. Plus, fans get to bash Deanna again for NOT picking him in the first place.

In the end, I do believe he will pick Melissa Rycroft. First, she is adorable, fun, and personable. When the two are together, they seem to have the most natural connection. Also, a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader? Every guys fantasy. (Ask your boyfriend or any male friend.)

Whoever he chooses, I hope he finds love. Otherwise, he can always play a soap opera doctor on General Hospital. He looked really hot in that scrub suit.
