As Twilight mania continues to spread around the world, Robert Pattinson continues to be perplexed by lovesick fans. Our humble Taurus vampire, doesn’t understand what the big fuss is about. (That just makes him more adorable.)

Robert Pattinson says it is difficult for him to believe that his female fans find him so attractive. The ‘Twilight’ actor says he has never considered himself good looking and wishes he could fix his appearance.

“I never really considered myself attractive. I was always kind of gangly in school,” he says. “Before I go out to face a crowd, I stare and stare at myself in the mirror until I have to tell myself to stop staring, since there’s nothing I can do.”

On a side note, Dakota Fanning says she is THRILLED to be cast in New Moon. She told People Magazine, that the opportunity was fantastic, Just last week it was reported the young star was offered the role sans audition because director Chris Weitz is so confident that Fanning is right for the part.

Talk about a perfect fit: A member of the deadly Volturi, the Jane character is described in a casting notice as a petite blonde with a “Botticelli angel-like face [and] crimson irises.”

She’s a great actress, I can’t really think of anyone else her age that could do the role, unless they cast an unknown. Astrologically, I think you’ve got in the bag Dakota.
