The amazing actress Naomi Watts, has a new interview in Parade Magazine. She opens up about the death of her
ex-boyfriend, Heath Ledger.
She says, the two met in 2002, when they were making the Australian film “Ned Kelly.” Watts remembers, “When I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, ‘Wow! This guy is alive.’ It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance. There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in. His strength didn’t scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you.”
Since spring 2005, Watts’ partner is actor Liev Schreiber. The couple’s first son, Alexander Pete, was born on 25 July 2007 in Los Angeles, and their second son, Samuel Kai, on 13 December 2008 in New York City.
Watts is a close friend of Benicio del Toro, with whom she co-starred in 21 Grams. Watts is friends with actress Isla Fisher, and is godmother to The Mentalist‘s Simon Baker’s oldest daughter, Stella.
Naomi has admitted that her relationship with Liev can be complicated. No marriage on the horizon for these two anytime soon. She said they both are a bit gun shy because they come from broken homes. No worries, having kids is a bigger commitment then any marriage.Love ya, Naomi.
