Love is in the air for new American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi. Her main squeeze Mike McDuddy, popped the question during a romantic holiday in Mexico.

Kara is a fun loving Sag girl, who is 38 years old. She has been an incredibly successful songwriter and record producer for several years now. She recently wrote the song “Crush,” for David Cook. Also, Mother Nature has been kind and she looks great for her age. (Very pretty.)

Our new American Idol judge is charity minded as well. DioGuardi works with the Phoenix House, a non-profit substance abuse service organization; she contributes to recording studios in the facilities and helps teach the teens how to operate the equipment.

But don’t expect wedding bells for the cute couple anytime soon. Her publicist had said: “No wedding date has been planned.”

This season should be interesting, I wonder if Paula Abdul is leaving anytime soon?
