What happens when you put Joaquin Phoenix and Diddy in a studio together? No, not a movie studio, a recording studio. I’m not sure what you’re going to get but it looks like Joaquin’s new musical career will be the “rapping” kind.

Just to make sure we don’t miss a minute of it. Casey Affleck is shooting a documentary about Joaquin’s departure as an amazing actor and his transformation into a Hollywood rapper. Should be interesting.

Personally, I love Joaquin Phoenix as an actor. I have met him a couple of times in Hollywood, once at the Mondrian Hotel, and the other at a popular hangout, Daddy’s. He was totally sweet, quiet, low key, and very intense looking. He throws off that sexy Scorpio Latino vibe. Also, he smokes like a chimney.

I don’t know, I think Joaquin can pull it off. If he can star as the country legend Johnny Cash, I think he can be a rapper. Also, having Diddy by your side, pretty much guarantees some type of success.

I hope his music style is like Beastie Boys. Should be cool.
