Poor Jessica Simpson. Could you imagine anything more nightmarish? It’s bad enough to gain a few pounds, but having everyone from your ex husband Nick Lachey, to the media discussing your “weight issues.” Any girl would just want to sit in bed and cry for days.

Personally, I think Jessica is a rockstar. She’s gorgeous, talented, an amazing business woman, and seems actually pretty down to earth. A Cancer girl, she loves her friends, and family most. She has a sensitive side and I imagine the recent press headlines can be depressing.

I can’t imagine why Nick Lachey felt the need to discuss his ex wife’s weight. Who’s next John Mayer? I guess the media must have been hounding him for his opinion.

He told Extra TV:

“I wish her nothing but the best, and I hope she’s happy – whatever size that comes in,” he tells Extra. “I can’t believe it’s this big of a story and people are making such a huge deal about it. I’m never ceased to be amazed by people’s reactions to things.”

We hope she’s happy as well. I think most girls would love to have her curves. I know I would.
