Jennifer Hudson our favorite Virgo girl, has kept a low profile since the tragic murder of her family. Today in a packed courtroom, her brother in law William Balfour, pleaded not guilty to first degree murder and home invasion charges.

For her part, Jennifer Hudson is set to take the public stage for the first time since the shootings in order to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” on February 1, at the Super Bowl. She is also scheduled to sing the songs of Neil Diamond on Feb. 6 at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala.

Until now, Hudson has released statements thanking fans for their support and commenting on her Grammy nominations, but has not been seen by the public. We’re glad to hear that Jennifer Hudson will be returning to the public eye. No doubt she will be welcomed back with open arms as so many have missed the incredibly talented and always humble and down-to-earth presence of Jennifer Hudson.

Since Balfour’s arrest he has maintained his innocence, and his lawyers have claimed that the prosecution only has circumstantial evidence to go on.

Astrologically, this year looks incredibly difficult for her. On her engagement to David Otunga, it looks like she may postpone her wedding. Maybe a wedding in 2010? Either way, our thoughts and prayers go to her and her family during this difficult period. We love ya Jennifer.
