Is Hugh Hefner still broken hearted over Holly Madison? In a recent interview, he revealed he once considered marrying Holly and thought she would make a wonderful wife.

Hugh said: “It has to do with timing. I’ve been married twice. Those are not the happiest times of my life, and I just don’t want to screw up another. She had a very good chance because I think she would’ve made a very good wife and will make a good wife to Criss or whoever she winds up with.”

Hugh also claimed he got over his split from former girlfriends Holly, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt by immediately launching into new relationships with twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon and Crystal Harris. He told E!: “The best solution to lost love is new love.”

Hefner a true Aries, is pioneering and one passionate guy. How did he start Playboy? In 1953, he lent his furniture for $600 and raised $8,000 from 45 investors – including $1,000 from his mother (”Not because she believed in the venture,” he told E! in 2006. “But because she believed in her son”) – to launch Playboy. The undated first issue, published in December 1953, featured Marilyn Monroe from her 1949 nude calendar shoot. Hefner, who never met Monroe, owns the crypt next to hers.

Wow, I’m surprised he never meant Marilyn Monroe. Lets hope the twins keep him happy.
