The “Samantha Who” and “Married With Children” star, Christina Applegate, has a new outlook on life. After surviving the death of her on again/off again boyfriend Lee Grivas, plus breast cancer, she’s definitely ready for a change.

She said: “It’s about finding happiness and joy, as if it were water and I was a person dying in a desert. You have to search for that.”

Last year, the star underwent a double mastectomy operation after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Her on-off boyfriend Lee Grivas also died due to an apparent drug overdose. Speaking about 2008, Christina said: “You can’t get any darker than I went.”

The 37-year-old actress is determined to recapture her positive outlook on life this year and is starting by getting into shape. She said: “I missed running so much. I’m looking forward to running more.”

What lifestyle changes does she plan to make? She says she wants to find a funky little beach house. It’s time to start living life to its fullest.

Christina is a fun loving Sag girl, who has crazy sense of humor, and is free spirited. Astrologically, her positive outlook on life, will open up new doors in her career, and love life. Maybe a second marriage?

Applegate will play Elizabeth Montgomery, who died of colorectal cancer, in the upcoming film Everything Is Going to Be Just Fine, due to be released in 2009.
