Obama’s inauguration’s celebration kicked off this weekend in a big way. The star studded event at the Lincoln Memorial included: Mary J. Blige, John Legend, James Taylor, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bon Jovi, U2, Tom Hanks, and many others.

It’s been announced that Beyonce will sing for President-elect Barack Obama’s first dance with his wife Michelle. The inauguration ball will be on Tuesday, January 20th.

“It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment,” said Obama spokeswoman Linda Douglass.

The event, called the Neighborhood Ball, is just one of many such affairs surrounding Obama’s inauguration.
