BERNIE MADOFF – Did Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick Lose Millions in Wall Street Scandal???

As the Bernie Madoff scandal continues to unfold, it looks like one of my favorite actors Kevin Bacon and his wife have lostkevinbacon.jpg millions as well. BUMMER!

Kevin, a Cancer, is a warm and loving family man. His wife Kyra, who he’s been married to for over 20 years, is a passionate Leo girl. They have two kids and live in on the upper west side of Manhattan.

NY Post Reports:

Former New York hedge-fund manager Mr Steinhardt told Bloomberg that he lost about $2m investing with financier Ezra Merkin, who funnelled clients’ money to Mr Madoff. Ezra Merkin’s Ascot hedge fund, lost its entire $1.8bn in assets. Mr Steinhardt wound down his business in the 1990s with a fortune estimated at $500m.

Other well-known names to have emerged from the woodwork as victims of the alleged scandal include Mr Bacon and his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, who are understood to have lost millions of dollars to the Madoff scheme.

Most surprising to Wall Street is that one of its most savvy economists, the former chief economist at Salomon Brothers Henry Kaufman, had money invested with the alleged fraudster. The economist is believed to have lost several million dollars, which he reportedly had in a brokerage account with Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities for more than five years.

Bacon will star in the new movie “Taking Chance,” on HBO. Also, he has a non profit web site, www.sixdegrees.org, based on the game “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.” It’s a funny trivia game any Hollywood actor can be “linked” to another in a handful of “steps,” based on their associations with Bacon. Which is actually true.

We wish Kevin and Kyra the best. Hopefully he will get another big blockbuster movie this year, to replace the money they lost. What a gorgeous couple they make.
