In a new “tell-all” book, Sean Puff Combs is accused of double dipping on artist royalties. For years, he has been mocked for always appearing in his recording stars videos and music albums. One rapper Mark Curry, is ready to dish the real dirt on Bad Boy Entertainment.
Mark Curry, also known as Chop D.I.E.S.E.L., is releasing “Dancing With the Devil,” his tell-all book about Combs’ company, Bad Boy Records, and how he was lured and promised of success.
He claims that Combs, who founded the label in 1993, would appear in his artists’ songs and videos but would secretly charge them for it.
He writes, “Puff [Combs] has an annoying habit of inserting himself into the songs and videos of all the artists on his label and it’s common knowledge that many Bad Boy acts resented him for this.”
“Puff charged the artists for his appearance on their records and videos, usually without [them] realizing it until they receive their royalty statements. That’s when they discovered that their large sums of money had gone to fees which were doubled, tripled and even quadrupled because of Puff’s ‘special appearances.'”
Sean a Scorpio, definitely has a dark side, and a big ego. Combs is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $346 million in 2006. In the February 2007 issue of Blender magazine, Combs spoke about his wardrobe. He describes his style in three words: “Swagger. Timeless. Diverse.”
After splitting from Kim Porter a Sag, he has been romantically linked to Cassie Ventura a beautiful Virgo girl. Astrologically, it doesn’t look like Diddy will be getting married anytime soon.
