Only one more week before the first episode of the Bachelor begins. Of course, we’ve already had several spoiler alerts, the most important one is that Jason Mesnick our favorite Cancer boy is engaged. He’s completely in love and maybe fans will finally get to see the first “Bachelor” televised wedding.

New York Daily News Reports:

Jason Mesnick, the new ABC “Bachelor,” said he couldn’t help himself when he recently revealed that he did find love on the show and is currently engaged to the winner – even if it did ruin the ending for some viewers.

“How could I hold something like that back when I’m as happy as I am and I feel as transparent as I am,” said Mesnick. “This is me and I’m so excited and I’m so happy that I want everybody to know it.”

Though he can’t reveal anything specific about how Ty is involved on the show (except to say very minimally) or the details of specific dates, Mesnick emphasized that he is indeed very happy with the outcome and in love.

“I did this to meet somebody to spend the rest of my life with,” said Mesnick. “And I’ll just say she’s amazing.”

I’m so happy he’s found love. Maybe ABC has found a new formula, the single dad or mom. They’ve already been married, understand the responsibilities of life, and are more interested in finding a life partner. Or maybe they should focus on Bachelors or Bachelorettes over 30. Either way, I think this will be the best season, next to Trista and Ryan’s. Stay tuned.
