Twilight fans are striking back, hundreds of fans have already signed a petition to keep Taylor Lautner as Jacob, in the film
New Moon. Angry Stephenie Meyer fans, are tired of movie studio Summit Entertainment making so many changes to her beloved books.
The director Catherine Hardwick is out, also a new rumor posted on Entertainment Weekly and Perez Hilton, says the studio might replace Lautner as Jacob. What do the fans say, NO WAY!!! Also, they feel the studio may be rushing the second film and may actually ruin the story in its haste to make MORE CASH!!!

Stacy, Iowa – Here it is. These books are beloved. The fans fell in love with the cast and that has a lot to do with the movie’s success. Don’t go and ruin everyting you had but getting rid of one of the main roles.
Yuval, Florida – I think Taylor is awesome as Jacob, I imagined him as Jacob throughout reading all the books, his personality is just like Jacob as far as I know, and hes an incredible actor. since when do movies let the looks of people stop them? If we can create dragons, make people fly and make movies like the curious case of Benjamin Button, then why can’t we make Taylor appear a little bit older? I for one will be very upset if they replace him and I know I won’t love Twilight as much. Stephenie should get a say in this.
Sarah, Pennsylvania – It would look really dumb if you changed him now….you already lost Hardwick because you’re too busy worrying about money to actually concentrate on making the movie good. Don’t make it suck any more than it probably will because you want to rush it by getting rid of Taylor.
Let your voice be heard and show Taylor Lautner some love. It’s Stephenie Meyers and the FANS, who have made Twilight so popular. Cut Taylor some slack, he’s perfect as Jacob, and fans want him to stay in the movie.

With the whole rushing thing involved in Twilight we get it that Catherine Hardwicke really jumped so many imporatnt scenes. Now in New Moon, “I OBJECT”!!! there is no way that Taylor can be replaced because he is already Jacob. Now if the Jacob character has to change, the whole story is going to fall apart. Everybody has fallen for these amazing actors. We support everyone of them. But being definitely honest I do agree with the whole different director thing. New Moon is made to be perfect. Taylor would definitely be the badass wolf.
I think Taylor is adorable but he doesn’t fit the description of Jake in my opinion. He can gain weight but can he grow and have that sculpted Native American face that is not so juvenile. I picture more physical competiton for Edward as Jake matures, and Bella develops that special Jake bonding. In some ways I don’t think he was cast correctly to begin with. There are flaws in the first film. Let’s give the second one a chance. Besides Kristen is a very gifted actress and the weight of the next one is going to be on her. We have to see her juggle emotions with 2 relationships. Edward needs competition. Bring it on. There is plenty of it in Hollywood.
We all love Taylor dearly, you know that. But he has been working very hard to keep his spot in the Twilight Saga and I think he deserves that spot,which is already his. The fact that he has a natural “nice Jacob” vibe does not mean he can not become the “tougher, harder Jacob” too. That’s what being an actor is about, being able to play multiple different personalities, and Taylors damn good at what he does, acting.
WE ALL LOVE TAYLOR A LOT, HE IS NOT ONLY CUTE BUT HE IS AN AMAZING ACTOR!

HE NEEDS TO PLAY THE ROLE OF JACOB… OR I AM GONNA TELL YOU ONE THING THEY ARE GONNA LOSE SOOOO MANY FANS. I PROMISE!!!
