Is it just me, or is Vicki Gunvalson a bit overbearing and controlling? At the same time, her hubby Don seems to be a cold
fish. I think these two need to go on a LONG ROMANTIC holiday on a “sex holiday.” Do you think they’re headed for divorceville? I hope not. I think when two couples drift apart, they have to make an effort to find their way back to each other.
According to E! News, Don Gunvalson — Gunvalson’s husband of 14 years — now “100 percent” regrets the couple’s participation in the reality show. According to Vicki, they now have an AMAZING marriage. Maybe seeing your shitty relationship on TV, makes you realize what’s missing.
The other shocker, is Laurie Peterson’s exit from the show. I felt horrible for her when her son was arrested for drugs. I was totally SHOCKED they gave him 8 months in jail. In a new interview, Laurie answers fans questions about her abrupt departure from the show.
Not at all. That was not my intention at all. Josh was arrested (for heroin possession and being under the influence) just hours after I finished my first day of filming. My intentions were good, but I just felt very conflicted. I was traumatized by Josh’s arrest. I truly was completely emotionally unavailable. I was crying continually, and I wasn’t helping my son. For me, I needed to really pull back, concentrate on my emotional well being and deal with the aftermath of the arrest.”Lauri’s decision to leave the show was a surprise: she wasn’t planning on leaving, it was the arrest of her son that precipitated her decision to exit Housewives. Lauri also talked about the “nasty” comments about her and her new husband, George, on websites. Lauri claimed the comments came from her and George’s “ex’s”:
I don’t blame Laurie for leaving. It’s obvious she really loves her son, having a child who has drug problem is a constant struggle, and is totally heartbreaking. I wish Laurie, her family, and her son only the best. I hope he gets the treatment he needs and lives a happy and sober life. We wish them the best.
