I think the look on OJ’s face says it all, priceless. SHOCK, wow OJ you FINALLY have to go to jail, not for murder, but at
least robbery. Hopefully, the Goldman’s and the Brown’s can have some peace. Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman must be smiling down from heaven at this moment.
Nicole Brown met O.J. while she worked as a waitress at a restaurant where O. J. was a customer. Nicole Brown was several months pregnant when O.J. Simpson left his wife, Marguerite, and family. Marguerite did not know about the affair. O.J.’s first wife, Marguerite, stated that she saw Nicole Brown driving by their family home several times before she knew who it was. Brown and O. J. Simpson were married on February 2, 1985, after his retirement from professional football. They had two children together, Sydney Brooke Simpson (born October 17, 1985) and Justin Ryan Simpson (born August 6, 1988). The marriage lasted seven years, ending when Nicole divorced him in 1992, citing an “abusive relationship”.
On June 12, 1994, Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were found murdered in front of her condo. O. J. Simpson was arrested and charged with both murders; he was acquitted of these crimes in a criminal trial by jury. However, in a subsequent civil trial, he was found liable for the deaths of his ex-wife and Goldman and ordered to pay $33,500,000 (USD) to the families of Brown and Goldman.
Today, OJ Simpson was sentenced to 16 years in prison for a botched robbery attempt in Las Vegas.
Reporting from Las Vegas and Los Angeles — Despite a tearful plea for leniency from O.J. Simpson, a Las Vegas judge today sentenced him to 16 years in prison for the kidnapping and robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers.
Simpson would be eligible for parole in nine years under the sentence handed down by Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass.
I feel sorry for his two kids who are now in college, what a tragic life they have had.
