There is a new debate buzzing on popular internet sites and the blogs in the UK. What is the big debate? Which book do you
prefer, Harry Potter or Twilight? Personally, I think it’s a difficult one to answer. I think Harry Potter is more mainstream, where as Twilight is more of a “dark romance” novel. I think the more appropriate question is, who is the “Most Romantic Couple”? Edward and Bella, or Romeo and Juliet?
Twilight captured me like Harry Potter never could. I can guarantee that when I am 90 you could find me curled in a comfy chair in front of the fire with Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, or breaking Dawn crushed in my hands, my eyes desperately scanning the pages and sighing over Edward’s declarations of love, protection, and devotion for Bella. The characters are timeless, the setting is rich, and the plot will entrance readers for centuries to come. Just like Romeo and Juliet and Dracula are still coveted by readers decades later, so will be Twilight. Stephenie Meyer has created a classic that will grace reader’s bookshelves for vampire eternity, which we all know is a very, very long time.
I have to agree with her. The Stephenie Meyers characters are timeless, like the characters in Anne Rice’s novels are. I’m looking forward to the next film New Moon. I think it will add new depth to the film when it’s shot on location in Italy.
Tell us what you think, take the poll.

Edward & Bella! DUGH!!
That fan comment mentioned in the article pretty much sums up why the book is so successful and adored by millions. I agree with every single word in that fan comment. Although I also loved Harry Potter, Twilight has that extra special something that draws us in. I think that maybe it’s because Twilight seems more real than Harry Potter could ever be. With Harry Potter, it’s all about magic really but Twilight is about love – the perfect love that is capable of happening to us (but doesn’t happen very much in this money/greed obsessed world). Although Harry Potter is also about love, it’s mainly about the love Harry’s parents had for him, but with Twilight it’s about true/romantic love – the perfect love that everyone – both males and females – dreams of. Twilight seems more of a reality than Harry Potter. But both are extremely well written novels.
Edward & Bella they are supposed to be together duh
I until this is still being confused with Robert’s email, because a great number in Robert’s site internet…. Indeed as one of your actors must maintain the identity himself, but informed to me the email and telepone you….. It was original that your email not the email lay…. EDWARD & BELLA!!!!! Romeo & Juliet is laim cause we don’t live in that age anymore. We live in an age where no love is forbidden – that’s only my oppinion.
