Gosh, this is horrible news. Actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother Scott, was shot in the head early Monday morning. He was rushed to the hospital after someone called 911. Right now details are sketchy whether or not it was a self inflicted wound, or attempted murder.

Movie star Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother is reportedly clinging to life after a mysterious shooting at his Beverly Hills home. A source said Scott Ruffalo, 39, was shot in the head early Monday and rushed to the hospital after emergency workers were summoned by a 911 call.

Details were sketchy and Beverly Hills cops would not release the victim’s identity or even confirm that he was shot. “If there was a shooting, our detectives would investigate whether it was homicical, accidental or suicidal,” said spokesman Lt. Tony Lee. “We haven’t pinpointed anything yet.” A publicist for Mark Ruffalo said he had no comment.
