Caylee was missing for over a month, before she reported her missing. Casey Anthony is now in prison for first degree murder and faces the death penalty.
Why do parents sometime kill their children? It happens way too often and it baffles the mind why someone would want to hurt such a beautiful child. It seems liked Casey was more interested in partying than taking care of her daughter. Why not let her parent take care of the little girl?

A day after a utility worker found the remains of a child in a wooded lot, a defense attorney said some characteristics of the remains matched 3-year-old Caylee, while the county sheriff said clues linked the remains to the child’s nearby home.
Her mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was charged with first-degree murder months after the girl disappeared in June and was not reported missing until July. One of her attorneys, Linda Kenney Baden, said during a court hearing Friday that “anthropological measurements and hair color” of the remains were said to match Caylee.
Sadly, Casey’s parents were on CNN defending their daughter. I sympathize with them, no one wants to believe someone is capable of such a horrific crime. The fact remains, that Casey is the only suspect. Hopefully, she will take responsibility for her actions, and confess to what she has done. Let the family heal.

Last week the State took the death penalty off the table. Of course, they can always reinstate it if the DNA evidence says this body is Caylee. Also, the body had tape on the mouth. This may mean that the baby suffered- no one puts tape over a dead persons mouth so it is a sure bet that she suffered at some point. That would make the death penalty a certainty. I hope it comes back in to play, personally. The mother should die for this. I know they will prove this is Caylee. The only reason the mother broke down over the discovery is that she got caught for sure. She must have been counting on an acquittal before the remains surfaced.

My thoughts are so with you and your family. Everey night since this news broke my nine year old daughter has prayed for your granddaughter and even tonight her prayers told God that Caylee now has her wings and will be coming up to be in the heavens.

I do not understand this at all. Cindy and George, you know your daughter better than anyone. To force her to give birth by shaming her, when she didn’t want the baby, you should have adopted that child and she would still be alive. Then, when you knew that odor in your car was from her tiny, decaying body and you covered it up, washing Casey’s clothes, who was protecting Caylee? Who is speaking out for Caylee as you hire an attorney and ask for ammunity and your daughter is in jail for murdering her child, your grandchild, and your son destroying a shrine for your granddaughter, in your front yard. This is horrible and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
