Italy is gearing up for the trial of the century, in the Amanda Knox murder case. Did she do it? Most people in the USA
think not, most people in Italy thinks she did.
Amanda Knox just spent her second Christmas in Italy’s Capanne prison, where officials say she attended a coed mass, sang Italian holiday songs, took dance lessons from the nuns and watched the hit animated movie “Kung Fu Panda.” Knox reportedly asked her parents for thermal underwear, flannel sheets, warm socks and a sweater this year.
Judge Giancarlo Massei will begin to hear evidence on Jan. 16, when Knox and 24-year-old Italian Rafaelle Sollecito go on trial. Another suspect, 21-year-old Rudy Guede, has already been convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison at a fast-track nonjury trial in October for his part in Kercher’s murder. Chief prosecutor Giuliano Mignini believes Knox and Sollecito are just as guilty. Both maintain their innocence.
Personally, I think it will be impossible for the two young students to get a fair trail. I believe the true killer Rudy Guede, who was found guilty, is the only person who committed this horrific crime.
A Seattle blogger, Candance Dempsey, who spent most of the year writing about sensational murder case, is writing a book about Amanda Knox. Dempsey, who writes the popular P-I reader blog Italian Woman At the Table, signed with Berkley Books last week to write “Murder in Italy: The Story Behind the Murder of Meredith Kercher, the Case Against Amanda Knox, and the Strange World of an Italian College Town.” The book will be released right after the murder trial. (Of course.)
Either way, it’s a sad story. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both families.

Will Britney Tour be successful? Its schedule to start March 3rd and goes until April. She has Saturn in 12th House currently and thats a dificult time for her.
Saturn in the 12th house, reveals what is hidden. It’s making peace with your past. If you’re emotionally strong, you will be fine. In Britney’s case, I think she will find the tour bittersweet. She’s not a little girl anymore, she’s a mom now, it’s time to grow up. I will do a post tomorrow about your question, and discuss what will happen.
