Kristen Stewart recently admitted in an interview, she is finding her sudden success a bit overwhelming. Originally, she thought that “Twilight” would be a cool little indie/cult film. She had no idea that it would become a big blockbuster hit.
How does she deal with fans? She says, “I’m really not good at it. Some people are great at it. It’s like the other side of the job. I can’t believe I have to do it. It makes it easier because I’m really proud of the movie and I’m a fan of the book as well.
It’s weird to see people mainly my age flipping out over Rob walking into the room. He shifts in his seat and they all just go crazy. It’s a little daunting.” Stewart says she expects the critics to be “a little tougher” on the sequel when it opens in late 2009 or early 2010.
What I think is really cool, is Kristen Stewart is set to star as Joan Jett in the new bio pic, about the 1970s punk band, the Runaway Girls. The movie will depict the all-girl band’s rise and fall from the limelight. Jett, now 50, will serve as executive producer on the project.
Our Aries girl is on fire. Don’t be scared Kristen, you better buckle your seatbelt, because you’re going to be a superstar.
