PAULA ABDUL – Brother of Paula Godspeed Blames American Idol Host for Her Death!

The brother of Paula Godspeed, the former American Idol contestant who was found dead in her car, parked in front of Paula’spaulaabdul.jpg house. Speaking out for the first time, in his grief, he is blaming Paul Abdul for his sisters downward spiral and apparent suicide??? So sad.

In 2005, it was reported that Paul Godspeed tried out for the popular reality show only to have her dreams crushed. All three judges rejected her rendition of Proud Mary and she was mocked by Simon Cowell. Her brother said she was “shocked” when Paula didn’t come to her defense. Godspeed a big fan of Paula’s, had made life size drawings of the star and had them placed around her house.

iCelebz Reports:

30-year-old Paula Goodspeed was found dead in her car parked near Abdul’s Los Angeles home on Tuesday. The media have discovered that she was a big fan of the singer/dancer and that she had auditioned for the hit talent show in 2005, only to have her dreams “crushed” after she was rejected early on.

Goodspeed sang “Proud Mary” at the tryout, earning scathing comments from the judges. Randy Jackson called her performance “terrible” and Simon Cowell mocked her orthodontic braces.

Abdul, who was considered the most kind-hearted of the judges, simply said she was “speechless” and that was “not a great thing.”

Goodspeed’s brother, Charles McIntyre, told the NY Post that Abdul “didn’t speak up for her” and that she “let everyone take her down.”He told the news website, “She [Abdul] said she was ’speechless,’ when she could have said something in her defense.”

A very sad story, the young woman obviously suffered from mental illness. I feel really bad for Paul as well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
