P. DIDDY – Why Did He Throw a Big Hissy Fit on His Birthday?

P. Diddy should change his name to “Sean P. Hissy Combs.” On November 4, he celebrated his 39th birthday in conjunction with Obama’spdiddy.jpg election party. Why the hissy fit? He HATED his all white themed birthday party. P. Diddy is known to be very particular about style and decor. He’s so picky, he demands that all guests at his party have manicures and pedicures before attending one of his big blowouts.

iCelebz Reports:

The rapper – who turned 39 last Tuesday – splashed out on a lavish bash at New York’s Mansion nightclub later in the week but insisted the decor was scrapped at the last minute after the all-white room – designed in just 12 hours – failed to meet his expectations.

A source revealed to the New York Post newspaper: “The designer was given a budget of $7,000 and 12 hours to create an all-white decor, including 1,000 white roses, blow-ups of Diddy and U.S. President-elect Barack Obama, and $2,000 of white fabric.”

Diddy declared it dreadful and went into a major hissy fit, screaming, ‘Show me the receipts!’ and ‘Get the money back!’ to his assistant. Then he began ripping the fabric off the walls saying he hated it. He berated the poor young decorator to the point that the guy gave back $2,000 of the money he had spent.”

Guests at the party included “Tropic Thunder” star Ben Stiller, singers Ne-Yo, Cassie and Keyshia Cole and Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz.

You have to admit, he definitely is a style icon in the industry. Also, he’s known as being a perfectionist. I just find it hard to believe the decorator was only given $7000 for a decorating budget. I would expect someone like Diddy to spend several hundred thousand dollars. Next time maybe he shouldn’t be so cheap. You get what you pay for.
