Poor Heather Locklear, she was officially charged with a DUI today. It seems Heather has been battling some very personal demons, with her personal battle with depression, and possibly a deadly pill addiction.

Heather a beautiful Libra girl, doesn’t do well when she doesn’t have harmony and balance in her life. After her very painful break up from Ritchie Sambora, the betrayal of one of her best friends Denise Richards (rot in hell), it seems she has been headed in a downward spiral.

A white knight appeared recently, her ex co-star of Melrose Place, hottie Jack Wagner. A sober soldier who has tried getting her back on the straight and narrow. It’s even reported they are engaged.

Fast forward to now, the Santa Barbara police department have officially filed charges against her.

Heather Locklear has been formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs in connection with her September arrest, the Santa Barbara, Calif., District Attorney’s Office said Monday.

The misdemeanor charge filed by the DA’s office specifies that the drugs in question were “prescription medications.” If convicted, the actress, 47, faces penalties ranging from a fine to up to six months in county jail.

We wish Heather Locklear and her family the best. Hopefully she will get the help she needs. Definitely one of my favorite TV actresses.
