This is just so sad, sickening horrible. A Florida teen committed suicide on webcam, while streaming to several viewers
online. WTF? It was reported that 19 year old Abraham Biggs Jr., had even talked about killing himself on his blog. Also, Reuters reports that some internet viewers even egged him on. Come on people, can’t you see the poor kid was crying out for help? Where the hell were his friends and family? Didn’t anyone think to call 911?
It was reported that some viewers thought he was joking, they watched him take several sleeping pills and fall asleep. Some viewers realizing he was serious, contacted authorities, but it was too late.
A Florida teenager committed suicide by drug overdose in front of a webcam streaming live video to the Internet and some viewers may have egged him on, authorities said on Friday.
Abraham Biggs Jr., 19, was found in the bedroom of his home in Pembroke Pines, Florida, on Wednesday and an autopsy showed he died of a toxic combination of opiates and benzodiazepine, a drug used to treat anxiety and insomnia, the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
“We have ruled it a suicide. Part of the terminal event was recorded on a website and there was streaming video,” said Dr. Steve Cina, deputy chief medical examiner of Broward County.
A police spokesman said detectives were investigating the case but would not release any details. Biggs had written blogs about his intentions and some of the viewers who were watching the event live may have goaded him on, Cina said.
“There is some indication of that, yes,” he said.
In a purported suicide note posted by Miami television station WPLG on its website, Biggs said: “I hate myself and I hate living.” The note said he had “thought about and attempted suicide many times in the past.”
This breaks my heart, the poor guy. I hope he’s found peace in heaven.

This world is full of selfish sick depraved individuals. Everything is about “fun” and excitement. Some of us won’t even help our family members, much less a stranger obviously in need of help. The people who were watching need to examine themselves and make some changes in their lives. This was a human being…suicide is not entertainment. My heart ache for his family.
