Move over Omarosa, there is a new villain in town, her name is Deanna Pappas. You might remember her as the girl that
got thrown to the curb by Brad Womack. Reality fans gathered around and gave her a big virtual hug. She went on Ellen to moan and groan about “how Brad did her wrong.” As women, we rallied around the poor girl, and even made sure she was selected as ABC’s new Bachelorette.
We cheered her on, looking forward to her possibly finding her one true soulmate. In the end, she chose her Prince Charming, a rad snowboarder dude named Jesse Csincsak. We felt bad for Jason Mesnick, the poor single dad whose heart was broken in front of millions of viewers. Once again, we rallied around the poor guy, and even made sure he was chosen as ABC’s new Bachelor. (I’m sure Jason, Jeremy, Graham, and all the rest of the guys are breathing a sigh of relief.)
Fast forward six months later, no more fantasy dates, the cameras have dimmed. Deanna Pappas decides that Jesse Csincsak isn’t her Prince Charming after all. As fans, we don’t blame Deanna Pappas for having second thoughts. We do disagree how she handled the breakup.
After DeYAWNa, practiced some “gotcha” journalism on Jesse, she leaked to the public that she had broken off the engagement. Of course, she told her “business associates” first, that the relationship with Jesse was over. Jesse had to find out the “Hollywood” way by not having his phone calls returned. (Deanna very douchey move, very Hollywood.)
DeYAWNa showing what a classy lady she is, dumped Jesse at the airport, while he was retrieving her bags. “Go fetch,” she said. He got the classic line, “I love you, but I’m not in love with you.” (remember this is at the friggin airport.) Officially anointing herself, the Most Hated Reality Star in America.
Call us reality fans Bitter Betty’s, or whatever. At the end of the day, Jesse is the one that has been thrown under the bus. Ms. Pappas, you may be able to force Jesse to remove all the fans comments from your “official page,” but it doesn’t change how most reality fans feel about you. They think you’re a fake and phony. Did you use Jesse for publicity, was this a game to you?
Fame is a funny thing, just like Heidi Klum says, “one day your in, the next day your out.”I would say at the moment, Jesse is definitely in, and you’re definitely out. You might want to think about that “bad advice” Chris Harrison says you’ve been receiving. He basically said your ego got too big, you’ve been smoking the Hollywood pipe dream, and you’re starting to believe your own hype.
Think again girlfriend, you’re just a reality star, and it was just a TV show. ABC and the fans made you, we can also take it away. Also, maybe get a new PR manager, who will need to do some “damage control” on your image.
Jesse seems like a sweet guy, the fans LOVE HIM! I’m sure you probably can be a sweet girl as well. Just remember, at the end of the day, these guys have hearts just like you. Now it’s time for you to step aside, so we can rally around poor Jesse, give him a big virtual hug, and hopefully he will be the star of the new ABC series, “The Bachelor Strikes Back.”

Bravo on this one Chicks! Great call for “The Bachelor Strikes Back” with Jesse….or at least let the show’s “Powers That Be” make him follow Jason to possible bliss. Deanna needs to remember the Laws of the Universe guarantee that what goes around comes around. Ouch, Deanna. GO TEAM JESSE!!!!!
Well, it looks like Brad Womack had it right after all. I never doubted it for a minute since DeAnna never showed much class on Bachelor 11 even before her ill-placed sympathy considerations for the Bachelorette. Jesse and Jason are the real winners here and I wish them the best. Jason probably realizes this now but Jesse will need time for the recent circumstances to become history.
Remember, people. A lot of people hated Jesse at first because he went on the show with the intention of getting more sponsors and seeking reality fame. In a sense, if any of this is really true, they met the matches in each other. He went into with the wrong intentions and in the end, even if he did fall in love for real, he got his heart broken. They’ve both admitted to wanting something more in the entertainment field. I thought they might get it together. I guess not. But if he started out seeking fame and she ended up seeking fame, who is really the culprit? They are two sides of the same coin and are both miserable right now. In a sense, they cancel each other out and both have learned something about false intentions.
It doesn’t matter where they started or finished. She leaked the story for a reason. It backfired on her. I guarentee she thought Jesse would keep his mouth shut. Big mistake on her part. (The Bachelor Strikes Back) I love it!
I think him opening his mouth backfired on him as well. He’d posted links to his youtube stuff and his interviews on their site and he’s removed it now. We don’t know the hearts or intentions of either of them. They were both looking for a certain level of fame and things have blown up. I feel bad for both of them.
The Brand Agency runs their official site, they put up the links to Jesse’s page I believe. If you go to his official MySpace page, he doesn’t have any links up there.
The other part is Deanna and Jesse are under contract with ABC. In a recent interview, Jeremy stated his contract with ABC was up on October 1st. After that, he could say and do what he wanted. I’m assuming that Deanna and Jesse’s was much longer.
If Chris Harrison is going on national radio slamming Deanna, it means they’re pissed at her. If she would have waited a few days, they could have released a joint statement. No harm, no foul.
Instead Deanna being the princess that she is, did her own thing. It hurts the ABC franchise, more importantly Jesse’s feelings, etc. If you love someone, even as a friend, you don’t throw them under the bus at the airport. Contact your “biz people” and make a publicity statement. “I hope to find love again someday.” My gosh, you have dated over 25 guys…give love a break. There is a much classier way to handle it. That is something she seriously lacks.
Thank you AstroChicks,
You said it perfect!!
Never would have believed it, but yes. She’s as interesting as dirt now. All the best to Jesse.
(By the way her poor family - having been forced to endure her chasing Hollywood dreams twice on national television. Awful.)
sjcaligurl,
Unfortunately your entire post is speculation because you can’t prove that he went on for purely for pub. That is a theory and it may be true it may not but you can’t take it as fact unless he admits it. Honestly, I think most people forgot how DeAnna was during her stint in the Bachelor… Somehow she became sweet and hurt which may be true at the end when she was trying to charm Brad but up until then she was a total bitch and treated the show as a competition first and foremost. If anything *anyone* who is generally on a reality show is seeking free stardom, it’s just a fact. The only thing real about reality t.v. is the host… DeAnna I would speculate mailed it in when she sent Graham home because I think he was the only one she wanted, she’s totally vein, again reference her to the Bachelor. I am kind of glad this happened sooner rather than later, there is nothing more painful then watching two people pretend to be together that aren’t ahem Matt and Shayne. The only people this last season of the Bachelor that didn’t seem to be perfect were Jesse and Twilly, in my opinion.
