According to the latest court documents, William Balfour has a long history of violence and criminal behavior. In fact, his father is serving 30 years in prison for murder himself. A member of the Gangster Disciples Gang, known as “Flex,” he was thought to be a ticking time bomb.

In June, Balfour violated parole by being arrested for possession of cocaine. His parole office chose NOT to revoke his parole and allowed him to go free. Although Balfour was not attending anger management classes and had an obvious drug addiction.

As details continue to unfold, the horrible triple murder of Jennifer Hudson’s family some believe could have been prevented. In recent reports, it was said that William Balfour threatened to kill Julia Hudson if she was caught dating another man. Although William Balfour had several girlfriends, one that was already pregnant, and the couple were discussing divorce.

It seems the domestic dispute escalated over a car that William Balfour sold behind Julia Hudson’s back. Balfour had failed to make payments on the car and Julia Hudson’s wages were being garnished for payments. Sources say, it escalated into an argument between the couple where Balfour threatened to kill her whole family. Tragically, Julia Hudson did not take him seriously.

In recent interview with Balfour’s pregnant girlfriend, it has been reported that she has implicated Balfour in the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s family. Jason Hudson’s stolen white SUV carrying the lifeless body of Julian King was found only blocks away from Balfour’s girlfriend.

Chicago police are continuing to investigate the murder and they expect to announce formal charges against Balfour in next few days. Jennifer Hudson and her family are in seclusion in Chicago. The funerals of Darnelle Donerson, Jason Hudson, and Julian King to be held next week.
