Today, for the first time, Jennifer Hudson has reached out to fans on her MySpace page. She is begging for the public to help find her nephew, or call the police with any information they may have. She has offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her nephew.

On Friday, her mother and brother were brutally murdered in their Chicago home. Her nephew, Julian King, a witness to the crime was believed to be kidnapped from the scene. The Chicago police issued a nationwide amber alert for the child. Also, the FBI has joined the investigation.

She posted the following note:

“Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately. Here is a picture of Julian and what he was last seen wearing. Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time.”

On Friday evening, William Balfour was arrested on suspicion of murder of Jennifer Hudson’s family. Balfour a childhood friend of Jennifer’s, was married to her sister Julia Hudson. They had recently separated and were in the middle of a divorce. It’s reported that Balfour is refusing to cooperate with the police and has claimed not to know where the child is. There is speculation that more than one person may have been involved in the crime.

Cops began distributing missing persons flyers for Julian this morning, 48 hours after they believe he first went missing, starting at a major intersection less than a mile from the house from which Julian was taken. In addition, they have expanded the search but believe the boy still may be in Chicago.
