I think he cheated - he told her and she forgave him. Then he went back and cheated AGAIN - and then he got caught by the National Enquirer. That's what is probably unforgivable here. That baby is probably his baby - and the affair was longer than he originally admitted - and Elizabeth feels life is too short - she needs to be happy.

I think this site posted a prediction a while ago (if my memory serves) that he would lose his career in politics, lose his marriage - and then be sort of a broken man should something (god forbid) happen to her. That made sense to me. It's bad enough to risk the presidency, to risk a marriage - but to cheat on a woman dealing with cancer is the lowest of the low. He should be miserable. She is a lovely woman - and has done great work on many important issues for this country.

Can you imagine if her were the democratic candidate now and this story came out this weekend? John McCain would be president.
