What a bummer, one of my favorite Dancing With the Stars winners Helio Castroneves, has been indicted for allegedly not paying taxes. Today, Castroneves was charged with conspiracy and six counts of tax evasion for purportedly failing to report to the IRS about $5.5 million in income. Each count carries a maximum five-year prison sentence.

His sister Kali and lawyer Alan Miller are charged with assisting Castroneves in the scheme. All three defendants are expected to surrender to authorities in Florida, and appear in court Friday October 3, 2008.

What does the future hold for Helio? He was born on May 10, 1975 and has Sun in hard working Taurus. His Moon in Taurus makes him warm and affectionate. His Mercury is in restless Gemini. Basically, in the IRS matter, he thinks he hasn’t done anything wrong. I predict he will plead not guilty and will work towards a plea bargain, pay a nasty fine, and serve probation. Afterwards, he will hustle his cute little Latino butt back to Brazil. Stay tuned.
