According to People Magazine, Dave Grohl and wife Jordyn, are welcoming baby number two. Married in 2003, the couple had their first daughter Violet Maye in 2006.

Grohl has been married twice. He was first married to photographer Jennifer Youngblood from 1993 to 1997. After their divorce, Grohl had relationships with Louise Post from Veruca Salt, solo artist and Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, and pro-snowboarder Tina Basich.

Dave Grohl tells People how kids have changed his life:

“We don’t talk about how much we drank last night [anymore],” Grohl told PEOPLE last year. “[Now] it’s how much sleep we got, how much sleep the baby got, diaper rash, formula. We used to go on the road for three months at a time. It’s a struggle for me to leave for even 12 days. I realized the life I always imagined beginning once the band ended has to begin now.”

Grohl, formerly the drummer of the band Nirvana, also talked about sharing his taste for music with his children.

“Violet loves the Amy Winehouse record,” he told PEOPLE. “It’s all about the ‘Rehab’ song. If she hears ‘Try to make me go to rehab,’ Violet will go, ‘No no no.’ I know, it’s a little weird, but it’s really cute!”

On 17 September 2008 Dave Grohl announced on The Chris Moyles Show that the band would be taking a long break from music so that they could return with a new sense of purpose, and also informed fans not to expect any new music for a while. Time for Dave to focus on being a daddy.
