Guy Ritchie’s mom, Lady Amber, is speaking out for the first time about her son’s recent split from Madonna. If you read between the lines, it’s pretty obvious that she isn’t fond of Madonna at all.

It’s reported that Madonna and Guy actually split in April 2008. I guess Madonna’s birthday and Guy’s lavish gifts were a publicity stunt for her upcoming tour. Why bother?

Lady Amber is quoted by Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper as telling a friend: “Guy chose to take this route, he knew what he was doing when he married her and got involved with that end of the market. He knew when he got into this relationship it was the price he would have to pay.”

“It was inevitable. It’s sad to watch any relationship go downhill. But that couldn’t go on. I know who Guy is and it didn’t take much to see who she is, and it couldn’t work. It’s unfortunate but he had some idea of what he was doing when he wed her.”

Madonna, 50, and Guy, 40, announced on Wednesday that they are divorcing after nearly eight years of marriage.

Madonna a Leo, needs to be the star of the show. Guy who is a Virgo, can be controlling and obsessive as well. Saturn is transiting Madonna’s first house, which I think will make the next year very difficult for her. She’s 50 years old, the end of her marriage is going to cause her more heartache than she thinks. Guy on the other hand, I think will be relieved its over.

Astrologically, I see Madonna and her new boy toy A-Rod splitting by spring. A-Rod has a roving eye, too many good looking women, and so little time. Stay tuned, more drama to follow.
