I don’t know about you, but I’m glad the debates are over. The campaign seems to get uglier and uglier by the day. I seem
to like McCain less and less. He just seems like an angry old man who needs to take a nap. I’m looking forward to Bush leaving the White House and hopefully Obama moving in.
The one interesting break out star in the debate was “Joe the Plumber.” Forget plumbing, he should start a t-shirt business, get the man an agent.
AP Reports:
One unique debate watcher was “Joe the Plumber” — Joe Wurzelbacher of Holland, Ohio, whose exchange with Obama about taxes and small businesses a few days earlier elicited dozens of references from the candidates during the debate.
“It floored me. It’s not something I expected, ever,” Wurzelbacher told “Good Morning America” on ABC. Though he wouldn’t say for whom he was voting, Wurzelbacher said Obama had a “very socialist view” of taxes “and that’s incredibly wrong.”
I disagree with Joe the Plumber about Obama having a Socialist view of taxes. I lived in Sweden for a few years, I paid 50% in personal taxes, and 25% in sales tax. They are a Socialist country, we’re not even close, and never will be. I just wish voters would take the time to really understand the issues and the crisis we face next year. Also, study other countries views of Socialism.
Astrologically, next March 2009 it’s going to be a HUGE transitional period for the United States. Lots of scandals, trials, etc. I still think that Obama will win. Also, for the future of our economy, we need a level headed person running our country.
My astrological prediction for Joe the Plumber? He will get a major sponsorship deal with a brand like Draino! LOL! Stay tuned.
