SARAH PALIN - An Astrological Look at the First Republican Female Vice President!

Whether you believe in Astrology or not, it’s definitely provides an interesting perspective of our political candidates.sarahpalin2.jpg Especially Sarah Palin, one of the most captivating women in politics today. She’s not only smart, she’s outspoken, sporty, hot, and an Aquarius.

I have had some readers accuse me of being bias. Probably true, I’m a Virgo with a Libra Rising. I have tried to provide a fair and balanced look at Sarah, but I’m pretty passionate about this election. I respect Sarah Palin as a woman, I admire her tenacity, but I do think she sometimes acts like the Homecoming Queen who doesn’t want to give up her crown.

As an Aquarius, she has Leo Rising. She LOVES to be in the spotlight and so does First Dude, Todd Palin. In fact, he’s gotten all rockstar on us with his cool shades. Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between him and one of the CIA agents.

From time to time, I receive interesting comments from other Astrologers. I received one from Planet Waves, who recently wrote an article about Sarah Palin’s chart which I found rather interesting.

Planet Waves:

Looking at her natal chart, we get Leo rising (our gorgeous beaming beauty queen, hotter at 44 than she was at 18) and that puts Aquarius on the 7th house. Aquarius is the sign with the most progressive feel, irrespective of what may be going on inside (as usual & with all the signs, there are a lot of possibilities). The 7th is the house that you could call the zone of projection (”we don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are”) or it’s the house of taking the public and putting it on like a mask. Either way, you project your 7th house. It is not the “real you” — that’s the job of the ascendant and its ruler. It’s specifically what you project outward.

From an astrological perspective, it seems Sarah Palin has projected a “moral image” of herself, and in Alaska she was allowed to do whatever she wants. Now that she’s on a world stage, that “beauty queen” persona just isn’t cutting it anymore. It’s great for the first couple of weeks, but afterwards Americans are bored and they want more substance. This is where Obama comes in.

I really believe (or maybe it’s my bias) with Barack Obama, what you see is what you get. He’s bi-racial, born to a teen mother, and raised by his grandparents. He’s overcome some terrible adversity in life and has risen to the occasion. He cares about others, he practices what he preaches, and remains calm under pressure.

Sarah Palin on the other hand makes great reality TV, but it’s not a show I want running for the next four years. Say what you will, if Astrological predictions are true, Barack Obama will be our next President.
