Wow, Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp and Anne Hatheway. It sounds absolutely delicious. It looks like Johnny Depp has hit the mother lode this week.

It’s reported he will be paid $55 million dollars to star in a new installment of Pirates of the Carribean. I’m assuming for Alice in Wonderland, it will probably be much less. The good news is that it’s a Tim Burton film.

San Francisco Chronicle Reports:

Hollywood star Anne Hathaway is lined up to join Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter for director Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice In Wonderland.”

Hathaway is slated for the role of the White Queen opposite Bonham Carter’s Red Queen, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Little-known Australian actress Mia Wasikowska has landed the lead role of Alice, while Depp will portray the Mad Hatter in pal Burton’s take on the Lewis Carroll classic.

The film, which is due for release in 2010, will mix live action with animation and will be in 3D.

Johnny Depp a Gemini, is the perfect split personality actor who plays amazing character roles. Can you believe he’s 45!!! Anne Hatheway is a Scorpio, she has a mysterious side, and will make an excellent White Queen. When you combine it with Tim Burton who is a wacky but obsessive Virgo, it’s bound to be magic. The film is slated for release in 2010.
