If you’ve been watching CNN today, or reading your newspaper, the markets continue to tank. Not only in the US,
but overseas as well. What the hell is going on?
I guess greed has been rearing its ugly head for WAY TOO LONG! It’s been reported in financial news, that cry babies over at Lehman Brothers were lining executives pockets with millions of dollars, while begging the US government for hand outs. Sounds like a Welfare scam to me.
Forbes Reports:
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 290 points on Friday just before the U.S. House of Representatives finally passed–and the president signed into law–the Treasury’s $700 billion bailout. But the Dow closed down 157 points anyway.
It has fallen another 500 points at the time of this writing, and the Dow is now down 1,300 points (or 12%) from its peak just prior to the failed congressional vote.
Supporters of the bill, along with almost every pundit, argued the bill was absolutely necessary to stabilize the markets. But the markets are not cooperating. In fact, volatility and fear are spiking. One reason is that any Treasury purchases under the plan will not be made for at least two weeks, maybe more. Another reason is that missteps by the federal government have turned what was a large financial problem into a massive one.
Astrologically speaking, the planet Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces are wreaking havoc on Americans emotions and the “American Dream.” As a nation, we’re finally realizing that we’ve been scammed, and just because you have a fancy Ivy League degree doesn’t make you street smart. It seems most major players lack not only morals but common sense when it comes to the market.
In January 2009, just after our new President will enter the office, Saturn will oppose Neptune. I think that’s when the BIG BUBBLE will burst. Regulations that should have been put in place a long time ago, will happen. I think by December 2009, we will begin to see some light at the end of the tunnel. My advice is keep your job, save your money, and stay calm. It’s going to get worse before it gets better.
