Wow, this is just such a sad and tragic story. The music world is in complete shock over the horrible plane crash Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) suffered. DJ AM’s ex fiancee Nicole Ritchie is reported to be heartbroken.

Another report from the weekly entertainment magazine’s website details that DJ AM “was completely terrified and traumatized” after the accident. He was able to call his mother while he was in the ambulance. He is now in a doctor-induced coma so that the medical staff can perform the skin grafts he needs.

Showbiz Spy reports DJ AM has been left “really, really badly burned.” A source tells E! News that AM’s “face is very burned” and “more than 50 percent of his body is burned and the worst is on his face.” His girlfriend Katie Davis is on her way to see him as he is hospitalized in Atlanta.
