It seems blues brother Taylor Hicks, has been playing Teen Angel in Grease on Broadway since June. He’s getting ready to
go back out on tour. Ace Young will join the Broadway cast playing Kenickie.
This will be Young’s Broadway debut, but it’s hardly his first foray into acting. The Grammy nominated songwriter (for co-writing Daughtry’s “It’s Not Over”) appeared on an episode of the sitcom “Half & Half” and on an episode of FOX’s “Bones” late last season. His solo debut, a self-titled album from the Pazzo Music/Fontana label, is now available.
In other trivia info, Hicks admits he’s a Jonas Brothers fans, and has landed a new record deal with Vanguard Records. On the publishing front in 2007, he signed a $750,000 deal to write a memoir about his life. WOW! It wasn’t a best seller but he definitely has a great agent.
What does the future hold for him astrologically? Taylor Hicks was born on October 7, 1976 and has Sun in charming Libra. His Moon in Pisces makes him incredibly sensitive and emotional. His Venus in Scorpio makes him a passionate and intense lover. Complimented by Mars in Libra makes him a big flirt, otherwise he’s a definite player. It was rumored he was dating Caroline Lyders. Whoever that is.
Saturn will oppose his Moon for the next year. I think emotionally he definitely feels challenged as he trys to get his mojo back after winning American Idol. On the romance front, I think he will probably be ready to settle down in 2010. For now, it seems career is on his mind at the moment.

That link you included to “The Official Soul Patrol” absolutely is NOT Taylors official site. They just named themselves that. His only official sites would be his myspace page or TaylorHicks Headquarters.
But that is just a fan site, nothing “official” about it.
Taylor wasn’t replaced by Ace Young. Ace has a completely different role in Grease. I agree the The Official Soul Patrol is not Taylor’s official site. In fact, it’s one to avoid, since it’s run like the military.
