As they say, hindsight is always 20/20. Would Hillary Clinton been a better running mate for Obama? Well in my opinion, she earned the right to be selected as Vice President. The big question is, if Clinton was chosen as Obama’s running mate, would McCain have picked Palin?  Just like an episode straight out of Desperate Housewives, both Palin and Clinton have had an “interesting” family life, and both are no strangers to scandal. I guess we will never know.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Obama is running against Palin versus McCain? Lets be honest, when thousands show up at McCain rally, they are there to see Sarah Palin, not John McCain. Now Barack Obama has to share the rockstar stage with a woman. Who will win?

The same day, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. hosted a town hall meeting in New Hampshire with a crowd of more than 800. Biden hasn’t made much of a splash since joining the Democratic ticket, but on this day, he did. In response to a question, he voiced a view many Democrats now hold, that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) “might have been a better pick than me” to be Sen. Barack Obama’s running mate.

When asked about Biden’s impact, Democratic pollster Doug Schoen said: “What impact? The best thing you can say about Biden is he has no discernible impact. It’s like it’s two against one.”

Many Clinton supporters say Palin’s presence has only strengthened their argument that Obama should have chosen the senator from New York instead.

I watched the CNN “biography” of Palin and Biden tonight. I felt like I was watching 48 Hours, or a political version of Behind the Music. I learned more about Biden and I have to say, I really like the guy. I really like Palin’s family as well. They are from different worlds but they both definitely represent middle America. I just don’t agree with Palin’s view on the issues. I think they’re to extreme and do not represent what most Americans believe.

I expect more political fall out for Palin over Trooper Gate as well. Her husband Todd Palin has been subpoenaed to testify and I’m sure the media will give us ALL the dirty details. For a few laughs, don’t forget to watch SNL tonight when Tina Fey stars as Sarah Palin in a skit tonight. HYSTERICAL!
