According to recent gossip reports, Kate Hudson has moved back in with ex husband as roommates. Or probably more like friends with benefits.

According to SF Gate:

After numerous failed relationships with stars including Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong, Hudson is now living with Robinson and their child in California. And Hudson believes the living arrangements are the best remedy for their son’s happiness.

The actress tells TV host Ellen DeGeneres, “It’s such a shame when people let their egos get in the way of what’s the most important thing. I feel like a lot of time someone’s pride is affected when a relationship ends. “For me it feels like this isn’t about me or (Chris). We did it the right way, which is we knew it wasn’t right (to stay together) so we wanted it to be great for Ryder and we got a happy, happy boy.

It sounds like an interesting set up, although I’m sure it will end if one of them falls in love with someone else. It sounds like Kate originally ended the marriage and this is a great way to try to get the relationship back on track.
