As Wall Street continues to tank, the Republican and Democratic parties are jockeying for position on who has the
better economic plan. First and foremost, we have to realize, the Republicans, and the Iraq war got us in this mess. Who is going to get us out?
According to Newsday:
“People are scared to death,” said Bill Stone, chief investment strategist for PNC Wealth Management. “Who would have imagined that AIG would have gotten into this position?” He said the anxiety gripping the markets reflects investors’ concerns that AIG wasn’t able to find a lifeline in the private sector and that Wall Street is now fretting about what other institutions could falter.
The message boards are being flooded with comments like don’t vote McSame, or that Bush only saved AIG to save the GOP. I think the economic state we’re in, is a serious wake up call. We need economic reform, new energy sources, and CHANGE in the White House.
Astrologically, the last quarter of 2008 will be our most difficult for this year. Yes, it’s going to even get worse before it gets better. Several planets including Jupiter and Saturn, will make hard aspects in 2009 and 2010. These aspects will continue to make our economy spiral out of control. It will force Americans to take stock, reevaluate what’s important, and make the necessary changes we need to be happy and prosperous.
How does this effect us on an individual level? If you have a secure job, stay where you are. If you’re out of a job, you need to diversify, and possibly consider a career change. Relationships? As they say, money is the number one factor in destroying marriages. Keep that in mind, try to be more loving and compassionate. What about our election? Vote for the candidate who will really bring POSITIVE CHANGE. Think about it! We’re all in this together and as a group we can make a difference. VOTE!
