JENNIFER HUDSON – Is David Otunga Really Her Prince Charming?

It’s hard to believe just a few years ago Jennifer Hudson was a cruise ship singer. That all changed when the unknown jenniferhudson.jpgsinger, finished seventh on Season 3 of American Idol.

Super spunky and sassy,  she told Simon and the fans watching at home, ‘I don’t know when or where or how, but God has something in store for me.’ Fast forward four years later, she is now a Oscar winning actress, and her new album has just dropped to rave reviews.

What she’s really excited about though is her engagement to David Otunga. You might remember David as one of “I Love New York’s” suitors “Punk” on the popular reality show.

In a recent interview she explains, “It was a big deal… I got a beautiful ring and I got him. “I had no clue at all… We went to the beach during the day and he blindfolded me… and he gave me a purple shovel, because purple’s my favorite color… and I had to dig.

“I ended up digging through all this sand. When I found it, it was like a bunch of beautiful cards… one related to the other, and the last one said, ‘Look around, take the moment in, turn around and I have a gift for you.”

When she turned around, he was holding a box, and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It’s been reported that she brags her future hubby, is a HARVARD GRAD lawyer. (Good, he can write up your pre-nuptial agreement. )

Personally, I’m a bit surprised, Jennifer’s a practical Virgo, and was previously engaged to her high school sweetheart for several years. David seems like he might be the rebound guy. Astrologically, it looks like she may have second thoughts next spring. Saturn in Virgo will hit her hard next year, making her question her recent decisions. Stay tuned.
