Isn’t strange that since Date My Ex ended, Jo and Slade have not discussed the show in the media anymore? Slade continues to travel with Jo to all her radio interviews, concerts, etc. Who brings their ex-boyfriend on their road trips? They are definitely back together, or he is definitely footing the bill.

According to Wadena Pioneer Journal:

In a new hometown interview, Lucas James from Date My Ex, talks about his experience on the reality show. Joyce was confident through the whole filming of the show that De La Rosa was going to pick him, he said. As the winner of the show he has the opportunity to go on further dates with De La Rosa, an aspiring singer and a former star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

That opportunity hasn’t happened yet, however, De La Rosa and Joyce were not allowed to appear in public during the airing of the show this summer, he said. They have been in contact through a few phone calls and e-mails.

“I’m not sure what’s going to happen next, to say the least,” Joyce said.

De La Rosa is a busy woman with the release of her album “Unscripted” this fall, he said. He has been dating someone else this summer. Joyce spent a month last spring taping the reality dating TV series, he said. It ended mid-June and the series premiered July 21.

It’s an interesting interview and well worth the read. Lucas has already moved on and is dating someone else. Well at least they’re not faking true love. I wonder what the next show will be, Date My Ex: Part Two – Jo Finds Slade a Date! Stay tuned!
