In a funny new interview, Chace Crawford shows he has a sense of humor about is reported “gayface.” That’s not an insult honey, it’s a compliment if the gay boys love you, especially Perez Hilton. He’ll make you even MORE famous.

On the romance front, he has been romantically connected to everyone from Carrie Underwood to his co-star Ed Westwick. Pretty boy Chace, is a sweet Cancer boy, and super tight with his family.

Since rising to fame on CW’s Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford says he’s been slapped with lots of labels. “Model turned actor, dime a dozen, eye candy, doesn’t know what he’s doing … and Perez Hilton says I have ‘gayface,’” Crawford, 23, says in November’s Details. “So on top of everything else, I have to overcome gayface.”

Growing up in the wealthy Dallas suburb of Plano, Crawford says he wasn’t anything like his Gossip character, the preppy Nate Archibald. “I’m pretty sure I wasn’t having sex with any cougars,” he says, referring to his current storyline on the show.

The most “mind-blowingly inappropriate” thing he did in high school? “An idiotic glass-punching thing” that left him with a scar on one wrist, he tells Details.
